Every summer we head up to Pond Eddy, New York - just above Port Jervis (where NY, PA and NJ meet) - for the annual summer raft trip. Friday night is fun and games around the campfire, then off to the glowing party hut for more game playing deep into the night. After a camp breakfast on Saturday, ugh, morning we head across the road to get our rafts for a 4-6 hour float down the Delaware River: some calm stretches, some rapids and a lot of fun! Then it's back to camp for dinner and another night of fun and games (but maybe not so late into the night... then again). On Sunday we pack up and head to the Village Diner (RIP Homer's) for a great indoor breakfast before heading home - and ideas for the next year!
